The new pit board says exactly what is at stake: FINISH IN THE TOP 3, plus the race type underneath. It is deliberately calmer than the start lights, easy to read at a glance, and clears off before the launch.

Showdowns and grudge matches have kept their rival posters. Those are personal. This board is for the business of getting paid.
