PLACES WITH A STORY

Every roadside stop used to open on the same stand-in sunset. Now all 21 scenes have their own place: steam on the hard shoulder, a crate under a tired tarpaulin, a garage throwing sparks into the night.

We kept the prints to blue, cream and vermilion, with dark ink, hatching and rough paper. The places do the talking. A notebook on a battered bonnet, a burst hay bale and two empty chairs leave room for whichever racer you bring along.

These are captures from the native Windows desktop build. The new artwork changes the opening scenes; choices, rewards and rivalries work as before.
