LESS WAIT. MORE RACE.
The crowd was causing a traffic jam. Every crash could make the game build an entire “ooooH” sound from scratch, right when the cars needed to keep moving. We have prepared those fixed sounds ahead of time. The sound is exactly the same; the interruption is gone from our repeatable race test.
The countryside had packed every biome for a single outing. It now keeps the tiles it needs and a smaller cache for recent scenery. On the same native test journey, peak memory fell from 601 MB to 371 MB and the worst racing frame fell from 122 ms to 27 ms. Loading the first race is prepared earlier too: its largest frame fell from 1,323 ms to 297 ms on our test machine.
We also repaired the shoreline preparation that made a streamed map differ from its finished version, and brought the old pause and roadside-stop checks up to date. The full headless test suite now passes, alongside the race frame and memory budgets.

Last Shall Be First and Turbo Lag now have their own illustrations. The wider catalogue audit found more art still to finish, so this is not a claim that every card is illustrated. Racing rules, card effects, tilt-shift and grid preferences stay as they were.
