PIT NOTES

Updates from the workshop, straight off the bench.

CONTACT MEANS CONTACT

We caught the corner blocks jumping the gun. A car could lose its grip and the beginning of the kerb would explode before anything touched it. Now the wreck has to meet the stone. Hit further around the bend and that is where the gap opens.

A red slot car breaks through the contacted blue and white corner blocks while earlier blocks remain intact
The dent goes where the car went.

The crowd has another reason to watch its step. Land on the road and a passing car sends you tumbling again. A flying wreck that takes another racer with it also earns a RICOCHET CRASH! callout.

We cleared some room at the mechanic's bench, too. On a phone, the old heading pushed the bottoms of the cards out of sight. The compact rack now fits three complete faces across, with the stock-versus-tuned comparison still one tap away.

Before: plenty of heading, not enough bench.
Updated phone mechanic screen displaying three complete upgrade cards
After: the whole card gets a seat at the table.

It is still one free tune-up, with an explicit confirmation before anything changes in your deck. Keyboard and controller controls stay available.
