PIT NOTES

Updates from the workshop, straight off the bench.

EVERY BUTTON BITES BACK.

Some menu buttons clicked. Others just stood there and let things happen. We have given the controls a shared press, so Settings feels as deliberate as starting a race.

Before: the finger was doing all the work.

Buttons now dip and darken as you press, then spring back on release. Even a quick tap gets a visible beat. Hover brings a warm lift, and keyboard focus stays clear without bouncing around.

After: a little travel under the fingertip.

The click comes from one shared sound source. Opening another menu no longer cuts it off, and a held press does not earn a second blip on release. Mouse, keyboard and controller use the same feedback, with the existing sound-volume controls respected.

The setup screen gets the same mechanical manners.

We checked held presses, quick taps, disabled buttons and backing out of dropdowns. The menus still lead to the same places; the racing rules and card effects are unchanged.
